Stamp of the Month Blog Hop--December

Welcome to our December Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! Wow...where did the year go!

If you came from Kimberly Smith blog you're right on track! Didn't you just love her idea for this set!

I really love this set! It has the obvious love and Valentine type feeling, but there is so much more you can do with it, too! It's only available during December, so don't miss out! PLUS...we have a special offer during December: place an order from my website (min. $20 before tax/sh) and you'll automatically receive a FREE stamp set! CTMH will surprise you with one of  our retiring stamp sets. Now isn't that fun!

I'm very pleased with the way this card turned out. The photo doesn't do it justice! It's a 5"x7" side fold card with a White Daisy base. The accent colors are Gypsy and just a touch of Black. I've even used a bit of our Hooligan's B&T! Can you find it? It's the Gypsy with black dots rectangle behind the focal images! The white with dots was created using my Swiss Dots embossing folder with my Cuttlebug. There are some dry embossed and sanded lines around the large Gypsy cs layer, too. Finally we get to the stamp of the month! I used the bottom of the heart image to stamp in Gypsy along the top and bottom of the card and also on the two small squared in the middle of the card. A bit of black ink stamped the message and as much of the heart arrow as would fit. Then I drew the edge of the small squared across the black ink pad to get a nice crisp distressed edge. Finally, a white organdy bow and a bitty Gypsy sparkle goes in the  heart. Soooooo pretty! You can find the pattern for this card in our How-to book: Originals....Tiny Twins.

  1. Love the monochromatic look. I especially love how you random stamped the edges using a part of the heart stamp.
