Rock the BlockHop!

Welcome to our Rock the Block Hop! This is a special offer that goes from DEc. 19, 2011 through Jan. 31, 2012....so we decided to make a blog hop to show it off! If you're coming from Wendy Kessler's blog you're on the right track!

As you can see this is an incredible special! You get a die cut tray with 9 cubes and an exclusive E-size stamp set! Can you believe it! All this can be yours for only $15 when you place a $25 min. order from our current Fall Winter Idea Book! That's like getting the E-size stamp set free! The Collage Cubes is a sneak peek because it will be a new item in the Spring Idea Book going live Feb. 1st.....BUT the stamp set will not be in the Spring Idea Book and will be gone when the special ends Jan. 31st.

Rock the Block is only available from
Dec. 19, 2011 - Jan. 31, 2012.

So are there ideas already forming in your head about how many different ways you can create with this?

I wanted to create something a bit out of the box and here is what I came up with after breaking through my creative block! I made CANDLES! After covering the cubes in cardstock embossed in gold with images from the stamp set,  I stacked them into 2, 3 and 4 cubes "candles".  The seams between the blocks are wrapped with ribbon and I topped each one with a flameless candle.  The tray is upside down under the candles to give a little extra height. On each candle I used the "fishnet" image on all the bottom cubes. The top cube of each candle is a different image from the set. Red sparkles accent each candle, too!

Obviously this is a very Christmasy decoration. But just think what you can do by changing out the colors and surrounding decorations! Use different colors and surround them with cupcakes for a birthday! They would be a nice touch at a bridal or baby shower, too. It's all about adapting to the occasion!

Ok, now it's time to hop over to Amy McVey's blog to see what she has in store for you!

Thanks for hopping by!

Happy Holidays to your and yours!
Michelle
