Technique Blog Hop -- Embossing

Welcome to the Technique Blog Hop! This month we're featuring our new Embossing Folders.
If you're coming from Wendy's blog, you're on the right track. Just keep clicking the links at the end of each post to continue on the hop. It's that easy!

I've made a few other things using the embossing folders besides this layout. You can see those by clicking the "embossing" label at the very end of this post. But for now, here is my layout!

I used two of the embossing folders: dots and chevron. I alternated them with the color blocks along the left edge of the layout. I chose the cardstock colors to mimic the rainbow in my granddaughter's shirt. Everything else is very easy! I used a couple of the from the Chantilly Picture My Life Scrapbooking Program. They are really great for journalling or in the case of the bird...I just cut it out! After that it was
embellishment time!

All products are Close To My Heart:
--cardstock: Cotton Candy, Ruby, Buttercup, Pear, Pacifica, Pink Glitter Paper
