Color Dare #170 ~ Cranberry & Fern + Cocoa, Cashmere & White Daisy

Welcome to our weekly Color My Heart color dare. The design team has a fun color combination for you this week: Cranberry & Fern + Cocoa and White Daisy. Here is a card I made with a fun paper folding technique to make a Christmas tree! I was inspired by StampladyKatie who has the directions on her site.

After folding the tree the rest is very easy! I used some Cocoa for the trunk and added some green Shimmer Trim, sparkles and a sentiment! I also topped the tree with a star! One other thing I did was to ink the edges and folds of the tree with Cocoa ink to make them pop!

  2. I love your fabulous tree with the small strip of green shimmer trim. The use of sponging on the tree edges really does make it pop! Thanks for all you do to inspire us at the Color Dare. We appreciate your efforts!
