Color Dare #175 ~ Glacier, White Daisy and Silver

Welcome to a new color dare from Color My Heart!
I was very excited to create with these colors as they are right in my
 "favorite zone".
This photo of my daughter and her family was perfect for this color dare so a layout it was going to be this week!

The flowers are from the NEW Springtime Wishes stamp set AND it's matching Thin Cuts! Boy does that make cutting out the flowers easy! If you're not familiar with Thin Cuts they are dies you place on top of your image (or you can cut the image then stamp) and running it through your Cuttlebug type machine. That's it!

The flowers are silver embossed and painted with a bit of watercolor paint. I also used a couple pieces of the Picture My Life White Overlay cards. I trimmed them down to fit my project and it's a nice soft and subtle way to get some journaling on the page.

All products are Close To My Heart:
--Springtime Wishes stamp set
--Springtime Wishes Thin Cuts
--Cardstock: White Daisy, Glacier
--Special Paper: Zoe, Whimsy Paper Fundamentals, Silver Glitter paper (Black & Grey pack)
--Ink: Glacier
--Embossing: Silver powder, VersaMark pad, heat tool
--Picture My Life White Overlay Cards

Now it's your turn to put these colors to use! Create anything that you like, take a photo and link it to this color dare on our blog. There are details on how to join in the sidebar of our Color My Heart home page. While you're there, check out the projects by our Design Team! Leaving a comment would be great!

This color dare is open until Thursday at 9:00pm CST. A new color dare goes live every Friday morning!

Thanks for stopping by! Have fun creating!

  8. Great Layout Michelle. I love the way you did your border with layering of flowers, stamping of the leaves on the cardstock and the sprinkling of hearts and gems around them. Great family picture of your daughter and her family. Thin cuts I'm still experimenting.
