Color Dare #191

This week Color My Heart brings you a monochromatic color dare using the Oranges of our CTMH palette.  Check out these colors: Poppy, Sunset, Sorbet with White Colonial. What can you create using this combination of colors?

I admit I struggled a bit with this one. I ended up basing my card on one in the Annual Expressions book. All the artwork in the books can be a great inspiration to copy or just get you started!

The seashell is stamped in Poppy then water colored with Sunset ink and a water pen. The sentiment is in two colors. I used Scotch Tape to mask the stamp before inking. That way you can keep the ink off the parts you don't want to stamp. Be sure to take the tape off before stamping!

All products are Close To My Heart:
--Cardstock: Poppy, Colonial White
--Ink: Poppy, Sunset, Sorbet
--Waterbrush: available starting May 1st
--Shimmer Trim: Coral

Other products:
Scotch Tape

If you need a consultant I'd love to help you.

Now it's your turn to create something and join the fun! Details on how to join are in the sidebar of our home page. If you don't have the exact colors just use something close. Color Dare #191 will be open until Thursday at 9:00pm CDT.

Happy Creating!
Michelle
