CTMH Technique Blog Hop - Wacky for Watercolor

Welcome to the Wacky for Watercolor Blog Hop! As you might guess, our featured technique this month is watercolors!  Now, if you're arrived here from Janna Brown Gray's blog you're on the right track! Just keep clicking on the link in each post to hop to the next blog. It's one big circle, so it's really easy!

I decided I wanted to do a layout with this technique. It might not be obvious just looking at the photo but I did use watercolors! I also spritzed the background a bit, too. But again, I just couldn't get it to show very well in a photo.

In this close-up you can see the color on the snowflakes. That's where I used watercolors! Look at the photo below and you can see how I just painted some watercolor on watercolor paper. Then I used the snowflake Thin Cuts and my Cuttlebug to cut out snowflakes! It's that easy!!! I added a few Sea Glass Glitter Paper snowflakes, too and backed the photo mat in Sea Glass cardstock. I love that pop of color! I haven't picked out of a photo yet. When I do I'll add a title and some journalling!

All products are Close To My Heart:

If you need a consultant I can help.
If you'd like to BE a consultant I can help with that, too!

Now it's time to hop over to Catherine Nowak's blog for more inspiration! Have fun hopping and learning watercolor techniques!
