Thin Cuts Blog Hop

Welcome to the Thin Cuts Blog Hop. We're the same group that does the Stamp of the Month Blog Hop and just love to share a special hop each month as well.

If you've come from Melinda Everitt's blog you're on the right path. Just keep clicking on the links in each post to continue on the hop. At the end of this post you'll find a link to a list of all participants, too.

This month Close To My Heart is having a sale on all of our current Thin Cuts! Each Thin Cut and Thin Cut Bundle (Thin Cut + matching stamp set) are on sale at 25% off! That is a GREAT deal! Click here to see a list of these sale items!

I just knew the seashell Thin Cuts would be the perfect match for this photo so I got out my watercolor paper and got to work! I heat embossed the seashells in white and used a watercolor wash to color them. I also used a watercolor wash to make the word happy. I just washed some color onto the watercolor paper then used the happy Thin Cut on top of that area and you've got a fancy colorful sentiment! The bottom of the page is supposed to look like waves lapping the beach. I tore the edge off pieces of cardstock to let the white core show and layered them on top of each other. A few sparkles on the sea shells and it was finished!

All products are Close To My Heart:
  • Stamp Set: Swirly Seashells
  • Thin Cuts: Swirly Seashells, Happy
  • Watercolor items: Watercolors, Waterbrush, Watercolor Paper
  • Cardstock: Crystal Blue, Glacier
  • Embossing: Versamark Embossing Pad, White Powder, Heat Tool
  • Embellishments: Clear Sparkles, Bitty Sparkles, Journal Pen
  • Thin 3D Foam Tape

Let's go shopping!
