Retiring Stamp Sets Blog Hop

Welcome to our blog hop featuring the stamp sets that will be retiring at the end of July. This hop is brought to you by the same consultants that bring you the Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.  If you've come from Sheila Bennett's blog you're on the right path. Just keep clicking on the links in each post to continue along on the hop.

My card features the Wreath stamp set and it's matching Thin Cut. This wreath is so versatile for any occasion! Here I kept it kind of subtle and without added embellishments. There is an overlay layer that is under the wreath. It was slightly narrower than the card front so I trimmed off about 3/8" from the right edge. Then I glued a piece or ribbon along the edge on the inside of the card. You can get a bit of a peek at it along the top of the card. HINT: to adhere the overlay I first glued the wreath to the overlay. Then I flipped it over and placed glue on back in places that will be hidden by the wreath. This way no adhesive shows!
