January Stamp of the Month Blog Hop ~ Bloom & Grow

Let's start off the New Year on the right crafting foot by having a Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! If you've come from  Alyson Mayo's blog you're on the right path. Just keep clicking on the links in each blog to continue on the hop. You'll have SO many great ideas from this hope of talented consultants!

I just LOVE the Chelsea Gardens paper pack! It's to soft and pretty! The stamp of the month: Bloom & Grow seemed like a perfect match to go with these papers. First I cut out an with Thin Cuts BUT this oval is special because it opens! I folded some cardstock and placed the oval Thin Cut so one edge went off the edge on the side of the fold. Now you have a "hinged" oval shape. The Dot you see on the left is where you slip the edge of the oval to keep it closed. Yes I know..... the oval opens on the left. I goofed but didn't want to throw it away. Besides, I'm a lefty and this works for me! LOL

I also liked how I could stack the hearts and add some greenery. A bit of edge sponging on the oval makes it stand apart from the background layer.

Bloom & Grow is our January Stamp of the Month which means it's only available from January 1-31. So you need to act fast and get it before the month is gone!
