Beautiful Friendship Card ~ Color Dare 293

Black and White are free colors
Open through May 31st

Now I admit I'm not really a fan of the color yellow. I prefer the cool color tones rather than warm, but sometimes you just need some yellow in your life! I really love how this card turned out!

I started out paging through one of our how-to books called Make It from Your Heart. It's a great resource that has completed sample photos and cutting directions. Because our stamps are acrylic I was able to trim the sentiment apart to use on the front and inside of the card. I also curved the sentiment on the front a bit to go with the edge of the flower.

Now it's your turn to create and share on our Color My Heart home page showing your interpretation of these colors. You must you All and ONLY the colors of the color dare. If you don't have an exact CTMH color you may substitute something close so you can still join the fun. But don't add any brand new colors to the palette. Full details are in the post on our home page.

Happy Creating.

  1. I love your card! Our patterns are such great resources and I also cut my stamps frequently! It makes such a big difference when you want to use just parts of them. I never would have thought to stamp the flower in two colours... Very nice!

  3. I really like this pattern and do not see many people using it. I love the way your flowers turned out with the yellow and sapphire.
