Bright & Bold ~ Color Dare 322

BRIGHT AND BOLD CHALLENGE
Open through December 31, 2018

This is a challenge where you pick your own bold and bright colors to create any paper craft you like. I'm getting ready for some January birthdays so this seemed like a perfect combo to work with. I went to my Love of Color book for some color inspiration. In the back there is an alphabetical index of all the colors. When you get to the color pages you'll find color suggestions in 3, 4 & 5 combinations! I started out looking up Lemon. I found Raspberry and Bluebird were suggested in the 3 color combo. Perfect! I got busy stamping, paper cutting and assembling. I finished my cake with some Clear Shimmer Brush, texture paste and added some twine. But my favorite is the fringe at the bottom made with a die in the Decorative Borders Thin Cuts. For the sentiment inside I inked the stamp in Lemon then inked the top and bottom in the other two colors before stamping.
