Double Trouble Meets Soft and Pastel

Soft and Pastel
Open through December 31, 2018

Welcome to another version of Double Trouble Meets Color My Heart Color Dare. This time the only rule for the color dare is to use pastel colors to create any paper craft you like. Double Trouble is using a 3-2-1 Challenge. You must use at least 3 embellishments , 2 colors and 1 stamped or digital image. It's an easy combination so give it a try!

My favorite stamp set from our Holiday Expressions is Bunches of Love. I could use this stamp set over and over and over again! This time I stamped the front of the card and gave it a bit of color with the corner details. I started with the Love of Color book for some ideas of color combinations that I haven't used before. Then I went to Make It from Your Heart for a pattern. These books make card making very easy! The sparkles were colored with a marker and shimmer was added with a Shimmer Brush.

  1. So pretty! I love the way you used the borders to frame the flowers.

  2. I can see where you would find this stamp set addicting...you made another beautiful card and adding some bling to it too. Stamp set would be great for me who is somewhat uncomfortable with watercoloring. I still haven't ordered yet but contemplating it.
