Slimline Floral Card ~ Color Dare #469

I had a lot of fun making this slimline card. I love flowers! I can't grow them but I can create them in my crafting!

This card is an inspiration from Laura Beacham and a card she made. I just loved the look and adapted it to our color challenge.

We reference Close To My Heart colors but you can use any brand you have as long as you can make a very close match. Kind of close doesn't count. Make any paper craft you like. When you're ready to join the challenge click the link in the post on our home page.

I got my die cutting machine busy with the Thin Cut dies. Then I blended some ink on the background piece. After that assembly was quick and easy.

I added some Bitty Beads to the flower centers. I placed a little bit of liquid glue, added the beads then added more glue on top to seal the beads. And don't you love the detail the White Gel Pen adds?!!!

  4. I can’t grow flowers (or anything else) either! But your floral card is beautiful so that makes all ok! X

  6. Oh, such a pretty background, Michelle! I like that your flowers are not identical - adds interest to your card. I had beautiful flower gardens when I lived in Kansas but in Arizona, I have learned to love the cactus flowers.
