Altering a Kit

Today I want to share a way to alter a Kit. Just one tiny detail can make a big difference!

With the Expressions ofd Kindness Kit (a favorite of mine) I kept the design close to the directions. I like the white twill ribbon but felt it just didn't do the design justice with its beauty.

A change I did make was the color of the ribbon. Using Stampin' Blend markers I changed the color to match that of the colors in the Kit.  It's easy to do and only takes a minute. Your fingers don't even get that messy!

Cut the length you'll need then using the brush tip just lightly brush it against the ribbon. You'll see the magic happen right before your eyes! It kind of soaks through but I did color both sides of the ribbon.

You get everything you need in the kit to make the cards. Adding the Blends to color match the ribbon is a bonus! What do you think?
