This card is for a Team Challenge using the colors of Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake and Secret Sea.
I tried a few different techniques but found the Calypso Coral kept coming out looking too dark for the silhouette. Ultimately I decided to use a die to cut a stencil then use a blending brush to apply the ink. I got the effect and depth of color I was going for this way.
I stamped the flower in Secret Sea which can be a great substitute for black. It has a bluer tone when paired with those colors so it's very versatile. Adding a ribbon, some dots and a touch of Wink of Stella on the flowers (hard to see in the photo) pulled it all together.
