Snowflake Card ~ Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge 651

It's time for a new sketch challenge! Use our sketch to design a paper craft of your choice.  Our sketch goes live on Monday and the blog opens for entires on Wednesday. You can manipulate the sketch as long as we can still see it in your project. Mostly important is to have fun!

This time I used the sketch as is. My choice was to make a Christmas card using a snowflake. It came to mind right away when I sat down to create. I love it when that happens. It makes the process so much easier.

After picking the paper from the suite and stamping and die cutting snowflakes I was ready to assemble. Oh, I used a blending brush to add ink to the plaid pattern of the Irresistible paper. The small snowflake is popped up in the center of the larger snowflake.

A few Rhinestones were added for some sparkle and I called it finished!

I like adding some decoration to the inside of the card as well. It helps coordinate the entire design and makes a nice little surprise when opened.

Now it's your turn to give our sketch a try. We love seeing how you're inspired by it. Have fun!
