Welcome to the March Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!

Hello! If you have arrived here from Melissa Burch's blog you're hopping in the right direction!

D1408 A Little Everything
This is a great set with lots of words that work for countless occasions! Add to that some cute accent images makes this a "must have" stamp set! As always, you can purchase this set at full price ($22.95), at a discount of 25-75% off or even get it FREE! Click here to order now!

My first card is a fun design using our new Topstitch paper kit. The different sizes of the words in the set allow you to create some really cute and atypical ways of stamping your message. I really liked how the word "birthday" fit next to the bigger "Happy" when tipped on it's side. It makes it a bit more interesting, don't you think! The flower blossom was made from half of a full Just Bloom flower. I cut a triangle of ribbon for the bud part to finish it off. Try mixing some of these blossoms with full flowers when embellishing to get a nice, garden type look.

This card uses the colors: Sweet Leaf, Smokey
Plum and Colonial White. To create the background
I stamped the large "THANKS" in Smokey Plum in
a scattered manner and added the word "Many" in
Sweet Leaf. Next I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder
(leaves) for a 3D effect. That gives a nice overall look,
but you can take it a step farther and turn it into the
Glassy Embossingtechnique. After you emboss your
design, carefully rubyour embossing pad across the
raised part of the design.Sprinkle on clear embossing
powder and heat set. Now the raised design is also
shiny like glass! It's hard to see in the picture but you
get the idea if you look carefully.
Give it a try...it's very cool!

Now it's time to hop on over to Adeline Brill's blog
to see what goodies she's sharing with us! If you
get lost along the way, click here to start at the
beginning! Ok now....hop, hop, hop!
