Diffuse Your Artwork--Technique Blog Hop

It's the middle of the month so that means it's time for the Technique Blog Hop!
This month we are feature our new Diffusers for dry embossing!
You use the diffuser with an embossing folder and your Cuttlebug to create a circle or square shape that does not emboss.

If you arrived from Catherine Nowak's blog you're on the right path. Just keep clicking the links to continue on the hop!

It may be a bit hard to see, but I used the circle diffuser and it gave me a nice flat spot for stamping some gem images. I also popped a couple with 3D Foam Tape. The way I dry embossed is to place my White Daisy cardstock inside the Diamond embossing folder. Then I placed the diffuser with the circle cut out on top of the folder. These two layers went on top of the white and B Cuttlebug layers. Then I cranked it through the Cuttlebug as usual. It's that easy!

  2. Great use of the 'diamond' stamp set. And love that the embossing has a "faceted" look like a diamond.
