Lovely Layers - CTMH Technique Blog Hop

Mid month means it's time for a new Technique Hop! This month we're featuring layers. Layers can be made in many different ways. So sit back and get ready for some great layering ideas!

If you're coming from the blog of Miss Carrie's Creations you're doing fine. Keep clicking on the links in each post to hop to the next blog. It's that easy!

I have two versions of a layered card to share today. I changed a few details but the layering idea is the same for both cards. I started by stamping at the top of the card. The green dot layer was made with an embossing folder. I used sand paper to make the dots stand out. I also used a bit of ribbon or glitter paper along the top edge of the embossed layer. That created the bottom layering of the card. Next I added a flower popped up on Thin 3D Foam Taped tucked in some embellishments and a sentiment. The flowers were colored using a water brush and ink from a stamp pad lid.  Lots of layers going on and they all work so well together!
