I wanted to do a project that went in a different direction than the obvious. The coordinating cardstock immediately caught my eye so I focused on using that part of the Happiest Place Collection.
I needed an accent color to go with the black and silver. To me Pink always looks good with black and also looks good on a flamingo. Haha. After that the card design was easy and came together quickly.

I kept with the Pink, Black and Silver look throughout the card. I love the banner as a layer for the flamingo and water.
I cut a small slit so I could slip the feet "into" the water. This way the flamingo looks like it's standing IN the water rather than walking on top of it.
Here's a close up look at the holographic nature of the paper. It's really beautiful!!!

DeleteHow fun is that?!?! I'm probably going to order a second pack of that holographic paper because I see it having SO MANY uses! I'm not a flamingo kind of girl, but I'm itching to recreate this!!
