Slimline Card ~ Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge 619

How about a new sketch from our Design Team at Atlantic Heart Sketch Challenge? This is a fun and easy slimline style sketch. What will you do with it? You can alter the sketch but we do need to be able to see the sketch in your design.

The sketch goes live on Monday and our blog opens for entries on Wednesday. Have fun!

I haven't made a slimline card in a while so this was a good reminder to do this more often. I kept my design simple and just stamped an image 3 times on white cardstock. That's it....no other coloring was needed.

The image layer is matted in a darker brown and edged with a gold marker.  The sentiment is die cut then popped up and also edged in gold. I kept the gold theme going by using gold gems.

Look at these beautiful images! You can do so much with them. A bit of shading with pencils, color with markers, heat emboss or just stamp like I did. I don't think you could go wrong with any technique. What would you try first?

A few. more products I used:
Gold Metallic Marker

TIP: you could recreate the ribbon look even though this version is retired. Using our White 1/2" ribbon and a Stampin' Blend marker you can color the ribbon whatever color you like. You could even create the two tone look with 2 markers.

Thanks for stopping by. Why not give our sketch a try? It's an easy way to get started and creating from there. We love seeing how our sketch inspires you!
