Happy Birthday --- Mojo Monday Style!

I had a bit of time for myself today and used it to play along with the

  Mojo Monday group!  Here is the sketch for this week:

And here is my version of the sketch!

This is a very easy sketch to accommodate just about any style! I love the one rounded corner on the card base and how its matched on the center layer. I was going to just round one corner of the cake layer, too. But I got to clipping corners and before I knew it I had rounded all four corners! I decided to just go with it. I used the Ivy Lane paper pack for a lovely feminine look.

Mojo Monday 224 and a sneak peek!

Here is a sneak peek at some paper and stamps from our new Idea Book going live Feb. 1st! The stamp set is our March Stamp of the Month and the paper is from the Florentine kit. I just knew the image from this stamp set would be perfect for the Mojo Monday!

Mojo Monday 203

I LOVE this new stamp set from our Autumn/Winter Idea Book! It's called Sweet Memories and for me has a warm, nostalgic feeling. There are two cameo sizes with frames as well as some other accent images and messages. Lovely!

Here I've used the new Sonoma papers with some Smokey Plum ink and cardstock. A few Mocha Opaques and a flower made from our new Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge finish off the look.

The pattern is Mojo Monday 203. A very nice pattern for all occasions.

H2H Challenge and Mojo Monday--a double challenge!

This week I decided to play in both the H2H Challenge and the 

Mojo Monday sketch challenges. 

This week the H2H Challenge was to use 3 specific colors: 

I love this color combo and couldn't wait to get started! 

This is a 6" x 6" side fold card.

Stamps sets I used are:

Flower Pot--flowers and message

Universal Backgrounds--on paper flower

Spring Up--center of paper flower
The Background & Texture paper is from the Hooligans Kit.

 The paper flowers are from the Just Blooms Spring Blossom collection. OH...check out the scalloped border at the top! That is one of our Kraft Color-Ready Borders! I sponged black ink on it and voila! It's self adhesive so it's easy to add to your projects! Finally, I added some Licorice Opaques as accents.
