Color Dare #232 ~ Fern, Sapphire, Lemon with White Daisy

I thought I was going to make something with flowers. Since that wasn't working the way I hoped I switched to The Way to Go stamp set instead. It reminds me of celebration banners for a party! To add a bit of sparkle I used the Clear Shimmer Brush on some of the images. You can get a better idea in the second photo of how it shimmers.

Color Dare #210 ~ Eggplant, Fern, Peacock, Desert Sand and Colonial White

It's Friday so that means a new Color My Heart color dare starts today! I love the colors for this dare! It made me think fall and the new leaf stamp set! For the leaves I sponged on some cardstock and then stamped the leaf image on top and cut it out. A fun splash of color in the background makes the other design elements stand out. Each least is "painted" with our new Shimmer Pen. It paints a light layer of shimmer wherever you want it!

Heart 2 Heart Challenge: Copy That!

One of the active challenges over at Heart 2 Heart is the Copy That challenge. You simply page through the current Annual Inspirations book and chose a design you like. Then recreate it, post to your blog and link to Heart 2 Heart! There are so many fantastic artwork ideas to chose from! Here is what I came up with ......
