D1407 Piece of Cake
February Stamp of the Month!
If you just came from Georgia Hauglid's blog you are on the right track!
Wonderful and creative ideas!
This is such a cute and fun set! Here I have used the colors of Colonial White, Hollyhock and Black. The black dotted background was made with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder and the Hollyhock B&T paper is from the Bella collection. The stamped black dots come from the set D1300 Circle Around. The dots in the corners of the cake layer are from the end of the dot stamp! The vertical Happy Birthday is from the set C1257 Happy Birthday. If you have just one set for birthday titles this is the one! Now the paper flower is from our White Daisy Variety Pack (Z1300). A little water and Hollyhock reinker and you end up with this beautifully coordinated accent for your card! If you're a bit impatient when dyeing flowers, just use your heat tool to gently dry it up a bit faster! Last, add a touch of color with some markers and you have a very pretty card for someone special!
