Use Your Stash Blog Hop ~ Ribbon

Well hello there! Do you want some inspiration for using up supplies in your stash? You've come to the right place! Each month on the 21st we feature ideas for something you probably have in your stash and this month it's ribbon!

If you've come from Priscilla Gotham's blog you're doing fine. Just click the links at the end of the post to go to the next hop.

The challenge this month is to use ribbon! The optional challenge for this hop is to use ribbon in a way your haven't before. I admit I have done this before but it's been a loooooong time! I took a piece of cardstock and used it for a base to make a lattice with ribbon. I ran adhesive around all four edges on the back to hold the ribbon. Each piece of ribbon just wraps around the edge of the cardstock. After I was finished weaving the ribbon pieces I put another piece of cardstock slightly smaller on the back. It's kind of like a sandwich! After that I gold embossed the butterflies and message and put the card together.
