Dainty Floral Look ~ Color Dare #726 + Special Offer

Are you looking for a new color challenge? You've come to the right place! Each Friday our team at Color Dare shares a new palette of challenge colors to get you started on a project. Use our challenge colors as you like on any paper project. All you have to do is make sure your colors are a very close match and do not add any extra colors not part of our challenge. We do let you use some Free colors with the challenge colors. They are Back, White, Neutrals (browns or grays), Gold or Silver.

When you're ready to join our challenge use the link below our graphic. This challenge is open from Friday October 23rd through Thursday November 5th. That gives you 2 weeks to create and share.

I went with a simple design. Lots of white space with pops of the challenge colors.

I stamped the small flower/ leaf outline in black then filled in the color with the solid version of the image. This 2 step stamping method makes it easy to get pretty imaged right away. The images were then die cut. The circle is also die cut and I love the detail around the outside of the circle.

I debated on putting the flowers and circle directly on the card base but the flowers didn't stand out enough. As you can see, I decide to add a layer of white CS but it looked to plain. My Take You Pick Tool came to the rescue! I scored some lines 1/8" part with the tool and my paper trimmer. A scoreboard works great, too, if you have one. Isn't it amazing how that one added detail makes such a difference in the overall design!

The circle is popped up on Dimensionals for some depth and allowed me to easily tuck the leaves under the edge. The flowers are on top of the circle and have a rhinestone in the center. I brought in more of the Hydrangea Hue with a few Dots as an accent.

I left plenty of space inside for a custom message. Since I had some flowers left over I added a leaf and one pink flower to the inside. It's always nice to bring in some part of the design on the front to the inside. It really makes a nice flow of design. Add something to the envelope, too.

SPECIAL OFFER: I'm looking for some new customers! Any new customer that places an order by October 31st will receive a special thank you gift from me. I will send you a collection of Christmas greetings made with Hot Foil! This will help make your holiday card making quicker and add a special touch with the hot foil look.

Current customers I'm not leaving you out! Refer a new customer and when they place an order before October 31st I will send you the hot foil collection of Christmas greetings, too!

Now it's your turn to create and share using our challenge colors. If you're combining more than one challenge remember not to use extra colors in order to qualify for our color challenge. Most of all, have fun!
