Backyard Visitor

Look who has been visiting our backyard lately! She just hops the fence and strolls over to the apple tree for a snack. She's very tolerant of any noises we make as we watch her from inside the house.. She stops and looks at the house, but then goes back to snacking on apples. Sometimes the dogs have been in the yard when she is here. I saw Jasper just laying about halfway between the doe and the house. She knew he was there. He knew she was there and just watched her. He didn't make any attempt to chase her. We figure that might have something to do with a deer visit last year. That one he chased through the yard at a full run and pulled a leg muscle. He must remember that and decided he doesn't need to do that again.
