Shave Cream technique

Here is a layout I recenty made with photos from our trip to Estes Park, CO last February.

Stamp sets used are C1368 Treetops and D1365 True Happiness. The journaling was done using one of our Font CD's.

Colors used are Sorbet, Heavenly Blue, Desert Sand and Garden Green.

The background for the sky and the ground was made using shaving cream and reinkers. Spray some shaving cream on wax paper and add a few drops of reinker. Use a stick of some sort to mix it up. Place a piece of cardstock on the shaving cream and gently press down. "Squeegee" the shaving cream off the cardstock...the edge of a gift card works well. Let the cardstock dry.

Now you are ready to do all kinds of things with your piece of cardstock. In this layout I used it as a background, but you could also use it to stamp on either with an open design or flip it over and stamp a solid design on the back. Cut out the image for a fun "marbled" look.
