Easel Card

You Rock easel card
Creating this easel card was very simple, yet it makes a "wowie" statement! You design your card front as usual except you create it on a separate piece of cardstock...in this case the Olive Green piece you see framing the front of the card. You also need to design the inside of the to go with the front since it will be on display. This can be done on the actual inside of the card. When you're ready to adhere the front of the card to the card base, first score the card front so it will fold when opened. Now adhere just the bottom of the card front to the bottom scored part of the card base. Leave the top part free so it will create the easel when opened. One last detail is to have some kind of "bumper" for the card to lean against when open. Here I used a bigger brad with a sparkle. The sparkle alone would have been enough to hold the card open.
So...give it a try! It's a fun card to make and to give!
