Here's another project in the Team Challenge Bingo for June. The theme for this one is a Gift Card Holder. These kinds of cards are fun even if a bit more involved depending on the type of holder you want to make.
My cards uses all 5 of the In Colors for 2025-2027. I went with a beach theme, too, using the Notes & Totes Bundle. I still had some die cut on my desk from a recent Summer Sampler I made and decided to use those pieces.
The card front came together easily using the die cuts. I added some birds from the Sunrise Sailing set and love the effect.
To make the tote stand up when the card is opened I cut and scored a piece of cardstock to act as a lever. The cardstock is 2-1/2" x 1" and scored at 1/4" on each end and in the middle. The end tabs are what glue to the card base. The tote is glued to what becomes the front of the lever. Make sure your pop up piece doesn't extend beyond the card when it's closed. As you open the card the tote stands up.
