November Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to our November Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! You will find lots of great ideas for our Capture the Date stamp set!  So sit back and enjoy the ride! If you've come from Wendy Coffman's blog you're on the right path. Click the link at the bottom to  go to the next blog!

Capture the Date is a fun set of 72 images! There are numbers, letters and a cute label like image, too! On the card above I created a background by using a variety of the words and numbers by placing them on a larger acrylic block. I inked it up and only had to stamp once to get the entire background! Colors used are Ruby and Desert Sand. The label and it's layers were cut with the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge...so quick and easy and you know they'll layer perfectly!

The embellishments fun, too! The stars are from Milepost Shapes. They are corrugated shapes in 7 different shapes. I added a bit of Ruby ink and some Bronze Glitz Glitter Gel to fancy them up a bit. The ribbon is our Color Ready Seam Binding Ribbon inked with Ruby ink. With this ribbon you can make it any color you like! How great is that! The final touch is a square sparkle. I know its hard to see in the picture but I added a touch of color to it with our new alcohol marker...Ruby of course!

Here is what the full set images looks like. It's only available Nov. 1-30, 2012 so click here to get yours now! The stamp set is $17.95 but you can get it for only $5 with a $50 min. order! Plus, during the month of November if you order $50 AND buy the stamp of the month for $5.....drum roll.......you get any stamp set of your choice (size A-E or M) for 50% off! Think about the crafters in your life. This is a great time to shop for holiday and birthday gifts! Don't forget yourself, too!

Now, it's time to hop on over to Krista Hershberger's blog and see what she has to share! Thanks for stopping by. We do this hop the first of every month to be sure to come back!

Happy Stamping!
Michelle
