Color Dare #42 - Hollyhock, Blush & Cotton Candy

Welcome to Color Dare #42! The colors this week are so pretty and spring-like!

As soon as I saw the colors for this dare I immediately thought about flower layers. The flower from the Love Blooms stamp set was perfect for this challenge! I stamped the flower in Slate ink on cardstock in each color. I cut out the Hollyhock as a whole flower. The Cotton Candy flower was cut along petals to make it slightly smaller and the Blush flower is mostly just the center of the flower image. Layered together it gives a pretty blend of colors don't you think! I also gave the edges of the Chantilly B&T paper a bit of definition by "scraping" the edge across the Hollyhock ink pad.

Here is a list of the products I used:
C1511 Love Blooms
cardstock--Hollyhock, Cotton Candy, Blush, Slate, White Daisy
B & T Duos--Chantilly
Glitter Paper--Black & Grey
Ink--Slate, Hollyhock
Pixie Glitter Alphabet
Sparkles--Red, Pink & Purple
Bling Gem (retired)
