Color Dare #46 -- Orange, Yellow, Pink

This week I have two very different creations for Color Dare #46! I had a lot of fun working with the colors and chose Creme Brulee, Sorbet and Hollyhock!

Both cards are 51/2" x 4 1/4" and were inspired by cards I saw on Pinterest.

The Hello card features Hello Tweety, In the Background and Patterned Pennants stamp sets. Inks, papers and markers are all from the colors mentioned above.

UPDATE: This card was selected as the winner for this challenge! I am honored and excited to be the winner as the others participating in the Color Dare are a very talented group!

This card has a message from the Just for You stamp set. The circles were made with our 2" Scalloped Circle Punch with the small circle made from the Cricut Artiste cartridge.  The patterned circles come from the Irresistibles Frames that have a resist pattern that pops up when ink is applied! Some butterflies from the Trinkets Wooden Shapes and some bling finish the look! Markers were also used to color the butterflies.

Happy Stamping!

  1. Nice!! I especially like the second one with the stacked, off-center circles. It's a great combination of funky and classy at the same time. Thanks for joining us this week at Color My Heart!!

  3. Both cards are great--the first is reminiscent of old-fashioned strip quilting, but the second with the off-kilter circles is so playful. Great job inking the Irresistibles as well as the wooden shapes. Thanks for sharing your creations with Color My Heart this week.
