Well here we are with a new Color Dare from Color My Heart! Grab your Olive, Autumn Terracotta and Goldrush inks and let's get creative!
The cute little flower sprig is from the Happy Autumn set. There are even more beautiful images in the set so go check it out on my website!
So first I sponge the background using Goldrush making the edges darker. The flowers are stamped in Autumn Terracotta. The ribbon was sponged with the dare colors on our Color Ready ribbon. A little detail was added to the Olive cardstock with our new scallop punch. The message is from Casual Expressions. Be sure to check out these two stamp sets? They have a lot of great images not seen on this card! Finally, I sponged all around the outside of the card with Goldrush and added some tiny pearls from the Mocha collection.
Be sure to check out the other ideas over at Color My Heart.

Happy Stamping!

How pretty pretty pretty!
ReplyDeletePretty card. Like how you used the colors.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Michelle! I love the sponged background with the scalloped bottom layer. I love how you placed tiny pearls right onto the scalloped edge. Very nicely done! Thanks for playing along with the Color Dare even on your "off" week from DT responsibilities.

So pretty! So, so pretty!! I think my favorite thing is the ribbon...or the sponging. No, maybe it's the silhouette flowers. Whatever...the whole thing is just lovely.
ReplyDeleteSo warm and rich looking. You've done a lovely job here. The coloured ribbon is a nice finishing touch. Thanks for taking this week's Color Dare!
ReplyDeleteI love the light effects your sponging makes on your panel. I wanted to paint my living room walls like that, but I wasn't up for the amount of work it would take! :) The additional heavy sponging around the edge of the card ties it all together. Lovely!
