Color My Heart Dare: Barn Red

Welcome to our Color Dare for the week. This week the Color My Heart group is challenging you with using Barn Red for your creations! It's a good lesson in monochromatic color design, so get your mojo going and let's create! As usual, neutral colors are ok to use with the featured color.

I decided to use one of our Circle Spin cards and a couple of the M sized stamps. This paper from the Huntington paper pack was a perfect fit for this dare. Barn Red with Champagne! On the images I used a water pen and a touch of ink to give it a bit of color. The border is from the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge to mimic the scallops on the gift. A bit of Almond Glitz Glitter Gel adds a nice tone to go with the neutral Champagne color. Oh, the images are stamped on a piece of scalloped cardstock, courtesy of our 2" Scallop Punch!

Here is what it looks like on the other site of the circle. When you finish your Circle Spin card, you wind it up by twisting the circle around and around then close the card. When the card is opened, the circle will spin! A nice little surprise to make the card more special.

Ok…get your ideas going and join us at Color My Heart!

Happy Crafting!
