Simply "Bow"tiful!

Hi! Thanks for stopping by to see our Color My Heart
color dare for this week!
The colors are Crystal Blue and Sweet Leaf. Both are very pretty colors and fit the feeling of Spring!

My card was a lift from one I saw made by Dana Kessler. It's such a lovely but simple in design type of card. I thought it would work great with the color dare this week.
I simply cut the bows from our Cricut Artiste cartridge and layered them on a strip of Sweet Leaf cardstock. Add a Green Epoxy Bubble and a message and it was done!

Now, if you want to kick it up a notch there are a lot of things you can do! What I've done here is a very simple technique. I used our Black Journaling Pen to outline the bows and strips. Thats it! A very quick and easy way to add detail.

--Banner Wishes (message)
--Cardstock- White Daisy, Crystal Blue, Sweet Leaf
--Ink- Crystal Blue, Sweet Leaf
--Cricut Artiste Cartridge
--Green Epoxy Bubbles
--Glue Dots
--Black Journaling Pen

  2. I love the simplicity of this card. It looks great in the color dare challenge colors. I also like how you stamped the greeting in two different colors. I will have to try this card design. Thanks for giving me another great idea!
