Color My Heart Color Dare #184

Feel like getting some inky fingers? Not sure where to start? Well maybe the Design Team at Color My Heart can get you started! Each week we challenge you with a color palette to get you started. You can create whatever you like and if you don't have the exact colors of the dare you can just use something close!

This week colors are Smoothie, Canary, Flaxen, Sweet Leaf with White Daisy. It had a very Spring-like feel to me so I looked over my flower stamp set. Ok....I have a real soft spot for the flower stamp sets! Anyway, I settled on Springtime Wishes and it's matching Thin Cuts.

First I stamped the images on some scrap White Daisy cardstock. Next was using the Thin Cuts and my Cuttlebug to punch out the images. The flowers and leaves were all done using Smoothie and Sweet Leaf so I still needed to get some Flaxen and Canary in there somewhere. I used Flaxen cardstock on the card front and a pattern from the Kaleidoscope paper pack for some Canary!

All products are Close To My Heart:
--Springtime Wishes stamp set
--Cardstock: White Daisy, Flaxen, Smoothie
--Ink: Smoothie, Sweet Leaf
--Kaleidoscope paper pack
--Embellishments: God Sequins, Bitty Sparkles,

Let me know if I can be of any help.

Now it's  your turn to join in the fun! Details on how to join are in the sidebar of the Color My Heart home page. It's fun and easy so come on and join us! While you're there check out what the other Design Team members created to inspire you. Leaving a comment will make their day!

Happy Creating!

  4. Lovely card, Michelle! Great job of arranging the flowers over a beautiful piece of Kaleidacolor paper. I like that you didn't color the flowers in--they look very pretty as they are.
