First of all, if you're new to our Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge it's really very simple. Each Friday we post a new color challenge and you can create any paper craft you like. We reference Close To My Heart colors but you can use any brand you like as long as you can make a very close match. We also give you some FREE colors that will be listed in the graphic for the challenge. What you can't do is add new colors to the challenge because that will get you disqualified and that makes us sad. Please don't make us sad.
When you're ready, use the link on our home page to join the challenge. While your'e there take a look at what the other Design Team members made to inspire you. Click on their name to go to their blog and find out more about their project. We LOVE it when you leave a comment!!!
I just love this adorable stamp set and couldn't wait to share a card with you. I used all the colors in the grid (Toffee is on the inside). I've included a few of our new products that went live September 1st and I love the look it gave me. We have a bunch of new Thin Cut Dies and I've used 2 on this card. I also used the new Color of the Year called Blue Belle which is a gorgeous blue!
For the main image I stamped the Ewe on Linen cardstock then fussy cut her out. I used the Thin Cut dies to cut the nested layers for the Ewe. By nesting the pink and blue glitter papers I saved on the glitter paper by having ready to go piece for another project!
Once all my layers were ready it came together very quickly on a Linen card base. I finished it all off with some Blue Belle Sequins to add some more sparkle.
- Cardstock: Linen, Blue Belle, Sage
