It's Friday so let's get busy with a new Color Dare Challenge! For this challenge you need to use at least 3 of the colors in the grid below. You can use Black, White, Neutrals and Gold as FREE colors. We reference Close To My Heart colors but you can use any brand you have as long as you can make a very close match. Kind of close doesn't count. Make any paper craft you like. When you're ready to join the challenge use the link in the post on our home page.
For this challenge we are also pairing up with Double Trouble - Challenge #91.
I made this simple in design card with 3 of the colors: Peacock, Blue Belle and Glacier plus Gold. I used the Wander Card Workshop Kit to create the die cut and stamped the sentiments.
In the exclusive stamp set there is a 1" image with lines. I used that little stamp on the Blue Belle cardstock seen around the edge. It gives a nice texture to it. That little 1" stamp is worth the entire kit price! Also, those little lines work for the Double Trouble Challenge!
I die cut the sun with Gold Glitter paper and added a strip below the sentiment. the Peacock layer is also splattered with some Gold Shimmer Brush. It's very subtle and hard to photograph but it is there. I carried the Gold through with some gems.
