Macaron Card ~ Double Trouble Challenge

If you like purple you'll love this card! I just started out with the paper and it built from there. The yellow offsets the purple and I love it!

I created this card for a challenge at Double Trouble.

I'm also submitting it at the following blogs:

Crafting Happiness

The Paper Funday Challenge

The Crafter's Cafe

I stamped the macarons in Intense Black ink since I was going to use markers and didn't want the ink to bleed. With three shades of the ink in each barrel of TriBlend Markers it's easy to blend and shade your images.

The macaron image is actually a stack of 3 cookies. I just stamped the top one three times, colored then fussy cut. The filling for each cookie is Liquid Pearls. Yum!

I brushed the edge of the white cardstock on the ink pad to get the distressed edges.

By the way, this card is my spin on a card in our Nov/Dec catalog on page 31.
