Delightful Wishes Card 2

Here is another look for the Delightful Wishes set. This was another project from our recent team event. These events are so fun and even after 29 years as a consultant/demonstrator I'm still learning new things!

The beautiful vellum overlay covers both the front and back of the top fold card. To adhere it to the card base so the glue doesn't show is always a challenge. On the front the glue was placed so it was under the focal area. To keep adhere it to the back of the card base is this fun tip I learned. Take a sponge dauber or sponge. Dab some glue on the sponge dauber tip. You don't need a lot. Now tap the sponge dauber along the bottom edge of the vellum. Lay the vellum flat against the card and smooth it down. Now the vellum is attached to the card base with no glue showing!

Stamp the image on the octagon to the left of middle. I didn't go over far enough from the way it was shown in class. BUT, I went rogue and placed the "wishing" vertical instead of horizontal. there are very few rules in crafting.....thank goodness.

The addition of the gold ribbon and bee trinkets are a pretty finish.

These beautiful products are in our Jan- Apr 2025 Mini catalog. The link is in the right column.. Be sure to check it out!
