It's time for a new Color Dare Challenge! This challenge is simple.... or is it? You use Shades of Brown with only ONE color of your choice. The challenge comes in with which one color do you choose?
Make any paper craft you like. When you're ready to join our challenge click the link below our graphic.
For my color I chose a pink. I've always thought pink and brown looked nice together and was pleased when my design worked with it.
The image was colored with watercolor pencils and then lightly blended with a water painter brush. The embossed background has added depth by coloring the high parts with a blending brush and brown ink.
The edges of the layers were inked with brown to give dimension. The flowers were accented with enamel flower centers and on the surrounding series. A few more accents of ribbon and gems and it was ready to go.
