Delightful Wishes Card ~ Color Dare #648

Hello and welcome to our color challenge. Each Friday our Design Team shares a new selection of colors to inspire you. Make any paper craft you like. For this challenge you must use Yellow + 1 color of your choice. We also give you some free colors to add if you like. See the graphic below for details. Do not add extra colors so be careful if you are combining challenges.  When you're ready to join our challenge use the direct link below the graphic.

Yellow is not a color I go to very often but it seems like I've been using it more lately. Maybe it's growing on me? My 1 color is green and I used a brown from the free colors.

For the players I did a little trick to not waste paper. I stamped and die cut the white layer. I wanted a green layer for matting and there was a piece left over but not quite big enough. I didn't want my mat much bigger so I cut with the next largest die even though it was bigger than the cardstock. To make it work I simply offset the layers. Adding the layered sentiment below brings the green back into play and you don't even miss the fact the green mat doesn't fit the size of the white layer.

Another trick is with the ribbon. I wrapped a piece around and adhered to the back. With a shorter piece I tied the knot on the front. Much easier than trying to tie with just one piece.
