Hello! Are you ready for a new color challenge from our Team at Color Dare? Then you've come to the right place. This week we're inspiring you with a photo full of brilliant and bold colors. You must use at least 3 colors seen in the photo. Check out our graphic below for more info.
Make any paper craft you like. If you're doing more than one challenge be sure your colors fit our challenge. The direct link to our challenge is under the graphic.
I wasn't sure which way I wanted to go with this challenge. I was scanning my row of stamp sets and my eyes landed on the Painted Stripes stamp set. Now this is a stamp set so incredibly versatile you can make it fit any project idea! From single color to multiple colors, soft or bold ... it does it all! You can add other images to your design but I decided to keep it simple and let those pretty colors stand on their own.
I used the stamp pad to first ink the middle with the orange then added the outer colors. This gave me control of how the colors would look. For a softer look you could use daubers or a sponge to ink the stamp.
After that it was an easy finish with a punched sentiment layer, ribbon and some gems. The sentiment layer is popped up on foam. What looks like a bow behind the sentiment is actually juste looped ribbon.
