Welcome to a new Color Dare Challenge! Each Friday we give you a new color combo to use for your project. For this challenge you must use all 3 colors shown in the graphic. We do give you some FREE colors to use in addition to the 3 shown. Do not add any extra colors beyond that. Be careful if you are combining challenges.
I've been working into using the Fall colors lately. Here I am featuring Very Vanilla, Pretty Peacock and Timid Tiger. The pattern paper is from our 20235-2027 In Color 6"x6" DSP pack. I broke up the pattern a bit by cutting it into 3 strips. This lets the mat color show through and softens the look of the bolder pattern paper. The circle was die cut on the lighter side of the two-tone cardstock.
To get gems that color matched I used Rhinestone Basic Jewels and the dark Stampin' Blend Marker. I swirled the brush tip on the jewel and let it dry a little. After placing and pressing it on my card I touched up the top of the jewel with the brush tip.

Wow, what a beautiful stamp set of leaves, and the leaves were perfect for this color challenge... beautiful card.
ReplyDeletePretty card, Michelle! That background paper packs a punch, but the focus is still on that "Artistic Leaf". Beautiful use of the challenge colors, too.
