Prairie Grass Card ~ Color Dare #665

Happy Friday Everyone! Friday means a new challenge from our team at Color Dare. This week we have a 2 color challenge for you. Use the 2 colors shown in our graphic below. There are some free colors you can use so check out the graphic. What you can't do is add extra colors. So be careful if you are combining challenges! 

I went with a CAS (clean and simple) look for my project. I used a die from the bundle below to cut a stencil to use for coloring a section on the front. Using blending brushes it was easy to get the color blend I wanted. 

Next I stamped the images going outside the colored area. I stamped in both black and the dark teal. This adds some depth to the look. 

A sentiment and some gems complete the design and add some sparkle.

For the inside of the card I just stamped some images using both colors from the challenge. I'll add a sentiment later or just write a custom message for the occasion.

The simple images in this set are so appealing to me. I love making silhouette style designs and this works perfectly for gals or guys. You can also add color to the fronds to get a more realistic look.

This bundle is so versatile! This time I used it for the sentiment and dies. There are some really great ways to use the basic style images and the dies are incredibly versatile!
