Snowflake Card ~ Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge 657

Hello and welcome to our new sketch from our Design Team at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. Every Monday we give you a new sketch to create with. Our blog opens on Wednesday for entries.

Use our sketch any way you like. We just need to be able to see it in your design. Have fun! 

I kept the sketch as is for my card this time. I already had this snowflake stamped and die cut so I used that to add to the sketch design. The pattern papers come from the Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP pack. There are so many wonderful patterns in the pack it was hard to choose which ones to use this time. I do like how the dark pattern paper makes the snowflake stand out. Oh, I popped up the snowflake and sentiment with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The 4 small DSP pieces are 1.5" x 1.75". The base is the standard 4.25" x 5.5". Red layer is 4" x 5.25" and the white pattern layer is 3.75" x 5".  The sentiment layer is .75" x 3". The ends of the sentiment layer were punched with the Happy Labels Punch for a touch of fun. Finally, I added some sparkle with gems!

The inside of the card is stamped with a pretty scripted sentiment from Ornamental Christmas set. The bough and pinecones come from the Delicate Pines set. It's always fun to add some decoration to the inside of the card, too.
