Easy and Simple Card

Are you ready for an easy and simple card? It's nice to have those ideas ready to go when you need a card but don't have a lot of time.

This card uses one of the images from the cut apart sheet. 

I used my paper trimmer to carefully cut out the image along the outline stopping when I got to the bits that extend over the edge. I used scissors to trim out that little bit. Oh....the card base is Cloud Cover and has a top fold.

I used the die cut for a layer to go behind the image layer. Those circles are a great addition to the design!

After gluing down the circle layer, I popped up the image layer with Dimensionals. 

The sentiment was die cut out of white CS and stamped in Secret Sea ink. A little know of Secret Sea ribbon makes a nice addition. Of course the card needed some Dots to go with the other items. 

By the way, the standing clipboard I'm using in the photos to display my card is available as one of our Kits. You get 3 clipboards: 2 large and one small. They are great for displaying all kind of things..... photos, cards, as a recipe stand and anything else you can think of!

This is a photo of the cut apart page from the paper pack. Look at all those great images! The Easy and Simple part is the stamping has been done for you! Work these images into your designs as focal points or layers. 

For the inside of the card I had more circles to use since I cut two pieces when I die cut for the front. I only had room for two rows so I just sliced it in half with my paper trimmer. I love using up those extra pieces on the inside. It makes such a nice connection from the front to the inside.

That's all it took to make this card! As I said, easy and simple. that cut apart page in the paper pack comes in really handy for designing.
