Do you know what Friday means? Well, it does mean a lot of things, but here it means a new challenge from our Color Dare Team! This week we're giving you 4 colors and you must use at least 3 of them. There are some Free color you can add if you like. Check the graphic below for that info. DO NOT add any extra colors beyond those in the graphic.
Make any paper craft you like. When you're ready to join our challenge use the direct link below the graphic.
My card uses all 4 of the colors in our challenge. I love the Greenery Lane Washi Tape. the leaves can create a lush look when grouped together. You can also use them alone as an accent. Here I have done both and added a lush accent to the arched layers. I added a few die cut flowers in the dark blue so I could add that color to the palette. Night of Navy Two tone CS was used so there would be a light and dark shade to the flowers.
The white arch layer has embossed lines. I die cut the arch then used my Paper Trimmer and Scoring Blade to emboss the lines every 1/4". It adds such a nice detail don't you think?
On this layer I also used a die cut circle for the sentiment. Both the Arched layers and the circle are popped up with Dimensionals. This gives a nice depth to the design but also makes it easy to slip the leaves under that layer.
The flowers and rhinestones are easy to place using the Take Your Pick Tool. There are changeable tips for this tool. Using the putty tip you can pick up the flowers and place them on the dot of glue. With the stylus tip you can lift the gems off the carrier sheet and place them wherever you like on your project. This tool is a must have in my supplies!
Now it's your turn to use the colors in our graphic to create a project. We love seeing how our color inspire you and can't wait to find out what you create! Have fun!
